Note to all crewmembers from Association Chairman John Shovlin:

Harold Hartmann has been compiling a list of all the USS Santa Fe crewmembers from 1942 to 1946.  He has asked for help finding copies of old USS Santa Fe Association mailing lists that may be lying around in drawers or the attic.  Here is Harold's message on the subject:

There were 1023 men that served on the Santa Fe from 1942 to 1946.  It would be nice if we could get more names on the list before our next reunion.  With all the active sailors in our group, there must be old mailing addresses that we could use to compile a greater list, even if the names were original, from way back when.  It might help if you mentioned it in your next newsletter.  Your old Navy buddy, just trying to keep young,  Harold.
